2020 Ambassador bios coming soon!
In 2019, I want to enjoy the run and to be grateful that I am healthy enough and have the ability to do it. My goal for 2019 is to complete my 4th half ironman distance triathlon and secure a qualifying time for the Pike’s Peak Ascent since injury kept me from doing that last year.
My name is Ambre (pronounced Amber). My 2019 goal is to run MORE! I love the running community, how everyone comes together and cheers each other on. I would love to get back to a 2:30 half marathon time!
My 2019 goal is to focus more on strength and hill training. And to meet more runners!
My 2019 goal is to run with Joy! To run with Joy and Excitement. The feeling that each runner has as we pace ourselves along the routes striving to conquer the same goal and that is to complete the course with pride!
I started running in 7th grade because I didn’t make the volleyball team, and little did I know the decision to pick up running would eventually change my life! Running has taught me so many life lessons and my goal this year is to help spread the joy running brings me to others by inspiring them to run, whether it be their 1st or 100th race! Personally, I’ll be running my 3rd marathon and 10th+ half marathon chasing sub 4 hour and sub 2 hour times respectively!
My 2019 goal is to run more 10k races! I am proud to share that I conquered my 1st 10k back in November of 2018, on my 38th birthday and to think that 5 years ago I couldn’t even run a block!
Running sets my mind free.
My goals for 2019 is to keep running half marathons and will attempt my second full in Dec hoping to improve on time. Also, love to see folks accomplish more than they thought they could, encouragement goes a long ways
2019 Goal: To be better than I was the day before! I love running & walking, and want everyone around me to feel the same way. If I can do that by encouraging people to get off the couch and move, even better. This year my goal is to run the year, 2019 miles, and continue my streak of intentional movement for the second year in a row!
I have always been a solo runner. My goal for 2019 is to participate in more social runs and local races and to run even-splits on long-distance runs.
My 2019 running goals is to run a half marathon every month this year and to be Grateful! To enjoy the beautiful courses, to share my love for running with friends, and to train harder! The goal is to hit a half marathon time of 1:45! “With God there is no limit to what you can do. There is no obstacle you can’t overcome.Through him all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
I started running in 2015 when my daughter was training for her first half marathon, she asked me to run with her; I’ve been hooked ever since! My goal this year is to stay consistent and aim to run 100+ miles per month.
My 2019 goal is to run at least a 10k once a month and to run my first ever Half Marathon! I’m also planning on partnering to make the Toyota Music Factory race an incredible experience. Looking forward to a fun year of races, making memories and building many new friendships!
My name is Emily Allie and I live in Plano,TX. I am a proud Dallas police wife, and I love running races that support first responder organizations. I am also a mother to five wonderful children. My daughter, Michelle is my running buddy. Shoots and ladders were her first race. We are looking forward to the AMPT races this year. My goal for this year is for both of us to be able to run 5k together in less than 30minutes.
My 2019 run goal is to meet new friends and build stronger friendships in the running community. I hope to set some new PR’s this year, among breaking 4 hours for a marathon
My 2019 goal is to run strong and injury free! I want to run with as many people as I can and enjoy camaraderie and friendships.
I want to run a fast marathon in my new AG in Eugene, OR and run a fun race with friends in NY marathon.
It’s an honor to be an AMPT Ambassador again in 2019. I hope to spread my love of running to everyone. I plan on completing my first marathon this year! I’m also trying to complete one half marathon a month in 2019. Wish me luck!
My 2019 goal is to get back to run/walking 5k’s! Also, to encourage others to take this journey with me in the race to better health. My final goal is to run a full 5k. One day at time I will meet my goal. Happy Running!! Here I go.
My 2019 goal is to run happy- be happy and stress less. I plan to not only be fit but maintain my fitness as a lifestyle change. Hope to see you guys on the pavement.
My 2019 goal is to not be so hard on myself and enjoy the journey. To shave 7 min off my current half PR, and end of the year, run a 2 hr half. I also want to help others reach their fitness goals! ~Blessed~
I am training to run my first full marathon in 2019! Since this is my first full, my biggest goal is to finish the race. I am also trying to increase my speed on shorter distances, and would love to run a 5K in under 30:00 and a half under 2:30:00.
My 2019 fitness goal is to inspire others to live a healthy lifestyle that I hope it includes a little running. I would also love to be selected to run the New York Marathon.
My goal this year is to push myself to see how far I can go because I know that I will continue to grow as a person and as a runner if I don’t settle for only what I have already achieved. Last year I ran the Chicago Marathon, a feat which I never would have believed a “slow” runner like me could have accomplished. This year I want to be the inspiration for others who stand on the sidelines and wish they could accomplish something they think is impossible. I accomplished my impossible. Now it is my turn to help others accomplish theirs.
My goal for 2019 is to run pain-free. I’m committed to training smarter and being more consistent this year while becoming healthier and more fit. I plan to engage in as many social runs as I can. I also have several races on my calendar with the half marathon being my longest for this year.
The goal I set out for 2019 is to run one race a month and at some point complete a half marathon. I want to get back to my love of running while achieving my goals and setting PR’s.
My 2019 Goal is to better my time for runs while having fun and touching lives . I also hope to run 7 half marathons. I find running relaxing as it gives me time to clear my head, enjoy nature, see old friends, and make new ones. I love to encourage others by sharing my story of how I overcame the inability to run and exercise after having my total knee replacement and foot surgery. Life is what you make of it. Never give up on yourself and loved ones.
For 2019, I intend on continuing to race as injury free as possible at an event every weekend while finishing up my second year at Parker University for a Doctorate in Chiropractic care.
My main fitness goal is to run 1200 miles in 2019. I hope that running these many miles this year allows me to set a PR in the 5K and half marathon. My stretch goal is to run sub 1:30 in a fall half marathon.
I’m hoping to get as close to my goal of 100 half marathons as possible in 2019, and with that, my main goal is to stay injury free! There will be races will it will be a “hopefully I can get a PR” but others will be for enjoyment, getting miles in, and as always, having fun! Happy Running!
I only started running races a couple of years ago, and it was just to prove to myself that I could do it! And now… I have a passion for it! I also have a passion to motivate people, especially women, to focus on a goal number NOT related to a scale. Which is why my goal for 2019, in honor of my 40th birthday, is to complete a race a month and 1500 miles. I truly believe that the only thing holding YOU back is YOUrself, so Carpe Diem.
My 2019 goal is to stay injury free and focus on the fun of running rather than the competition.
My 2019 goal is to INSPIRE runners who may have just started running, or feel that it is too late in life to start running. I am proof that you can do it! Now that I’ve finished a half marathon, my race goal
Is to run a 5k under 35 minutes.
In 2019 I’m aiming to run a sub 15 minute 5k! My current PR is 31:31, but I hope to greatly improve this as I continue to recover from knee surgery in 2018. Wish me luck!
It is such a pleasure to be a part of the AMPT running community! My 2019 goals include adding mobility work and being more intentional in recovery with hopes of improving my run . I’m aiming to finish the year with a sub 2 hour half marathon.
My fitness goal involves lots of pizza and donuts! 🤣🤣🤣 One of these days I’ll get that sub2 HM time. Thankful for my health every day! 💖💖💖
I’m Raena Williams, a 42-year-old momma with 5 kiddos – but only 1 left at home (thank god!)- and three dobies . I’ve been a runner my whole life and last year I set a goal for myself to finally run my first half marathon. I didn’t manage to accomplish my goal until just this year but I’m no less proud! I pushed through my comfort zones in 2018 in so many ways and really got involved in our local running community. The overwhelming support is amazing and I love all of the new frunners I’ve made! Without them, I probably still would not have run my first half. I’m looking forward to more goal crushing in 2019!
I didn’t like running in high school – only for PE class. I didn’t start running until I was in my 20’s but only after my wife and I volunteered at the races just to get the volunteer shirts. Eventually, we went from 5k’s to 10k’s to Half Marathons and a few Full Marathons. My goal for 2019 is to do a 12 Hour Tough Mudder and possibly the World’s Toughest Mudder, a 24 hour OCR. In addition to running, I enjoy Camp Gladiator workouts, Obstacle Course Races and Road and Trail Races.
My 2019 goal is to run more and to run healthy!
This year I want to stay present in the reason I run and not get lost in the must-do part of training. I plan on traveling to some new locations for a couple of races and hopefully will be running the Marine Corps Marathon for the 3rd time in October. This will be a huge goal race for me, but I’m beyond excited about it. I can’t wait to spread my love for running and share AMPT and their races with many others.
I am new to the fitness world, I started with CAMP GLADIATOR in May of 2018, and have loved it ever since. I am in recovery and needed a new lifestyle. I set a goal for 2019 to run at least one 5K a month, and to complete one 10K by the end of the year! Hoping yo place in one of my races! I’m very excited to interact with people who share the same goals and ambitions as I do, and am ready to help motivate those who don’t!
I am honored to be given the opportunity to be a part of this fantastic organization. My running goal for 2019 is to complete my first full marathon in San Diego next fall!
I love doing things that people cannot wrap their head around and tend to think are crazy or ambitious. Things like running long distances, cycling up mountains, endurance mountain biking, and mountain unicycling!
